The Deverills Cattery is a spacious and caring boarding Cattery, owned and managed by Patrick and Heather. Heather is qualified at Level 3 in Feline Care, Behaviour and Welfare, which is regulated and recognised by Ofqual.
We are regulated and monitored by Warminster Town Council, Heather is the license holder on behalf of the cattery.
Originally established in 1972 under the name The Cats Inn, we have recently taken over the ownership. We have updated, modernised and refurbished the building, which allows for larger areas for each pod, with hygienic cleaning and maintenance a priority. A kitchen and an equipment room have been built and attached as part of the cattery building. Our aim is to use ethically and sustainably sourced materials, equipment and products as much as possible.
Each pod has a separate sleeping and playing area. The walls and doors are constructed from easy clean, non-toxic material to ensure the highest levels of hygiene are maintained. To enable your cat to engage with its natural instincts of play and exploration, the play areas have shelving placed at various levels, providing your cat a choice of viewing posts. They also have built-in climbing frames and a full stretch scratching post.
All the enclosed areas in each pod are heated for chilly days and nights. During milder days, the pens are designed to allow more ventilation, and cool pads are provided during hot weather. Each pod has a room with a view to the back and front gardens.
We are licenced and monitored by Wiltshire County Council. The licence holder is Heather De Wulf. Our licence number is LN/000019669.
